Right Colon Cleanser for You
When it comes to finding the right colon cleanser to clean out your system, it can be tricky due to the fact that there are so many brands of cleansers out there on the current market. There are two main types of cleansers, and from there, a plethora of brands and supplements have sprouted. The two main types of cleansers are the oxygen-based cleansers and the fiber-based cleansers. Both will do their job to fix the problem you may be experiencing, but they have their good points and bad points, like any product you may find out there.
A colon cleanser that is fiber based uses that main ingredient, fiber to push everything through, and keep it moving. This does not necessarily have to be a supplement of some sort, you can find fiber in your cereal, and eat your fiber cleanser for breakfast in the morning. If you are having a harder time with constipation, then you may want to start out with a fiber-based colon cleanser that will jump start everything, and then from there you can start eating your fiber cereal. Shaving their face would be the closet thing to skin care that they would come too, however times have changed and there are many men that are taking the steps to better skin care and showing their skin just a little bit more love and care. Here in this article I will go over the basic skin care tips for men.
Taking care of your skin is important and many men have realized that the skin is the outer most layer to protecting their look for the future as well as the largest defense organ against outside bacteria and sickness.
As people age our skin tends to lose the elasticity and wrinkles and fine line began to appear. Skin care for men does not take out hours from the day but just a few minutes each day. A simple antibacterial skin soap and cleanser. Just wash you face with warm water and rinse dry with cold water. This is to close the pores after washing.

Your weight
Expert advice to help you maintain a healthy weight
Dissatisfied with your weight?
We're bombarded with scare stories about weight, from size zero to the obesity (pidemic). But a healthy weight is determined by different factors for each of us. Our expert advice is designed to help you achieve and maintain a healthy, life-enhancing weight.
Overweight or underweight?
Being the right weight has a positive effect on wellbeing but also on our health, as being the wrong weight can cause a range of medical problems.
Maintaining health as we age can be challenging, so a diet rich in nutrients is increasingly important as we grow older.
Factors that affect nutrition
There are many factors that influence nutritional status in older adults, and they can be broadly grouped into four main areas:
Those that naturally occur during the ageing process, such as a reduced ability to absorb nutrients efficiently, or a sore mouth due to dentures
Disease-specific conditions such as cancer, which place greater nutritional demands on people
Some drugs that interact with nutrients and prevent absorption, for example aspirin, which can interfere with the absorption of vitamin C
Social influences, such as not being able to get to shops, or social isolation
Continuing to enjoy food and to eat a diet that maintains nutritional status is key to coping with illness. Poor nutrition has been shown to increase the risk of infections, bed sores, chest infections and poor wound healing. Good nutritional status will help ensure a quicker recovery.
Other common problems:
Loss of taste
The ability to taste flavours declines as we age. Food can often taste bland to older people so try:
Using herbs and spices, tomatoes and other flavouring such as lemon juice to flavour food, but avoid using too much salt
Choosing foods with a strong taste - go for strong-flavoured meats, sauces, dressings, mustards and pickles
Loss of interest in food
Older people can lose interest in food for a variety of reasons. Depression due to loss of independence or bereavement, or simply eating alone can reduce appetite.
Explore the possibility of lunch clubs in your area
Eat with company when you can
Make meal times special by laying the table and presenting food in an attractive way
Choose a variety of foods where possible to keep the experience interesting
Poor appetite
If you're unable to eat much, try small appetising meals and calorie-rich snacks in between meals to boost nutrient intake. To increase your calorie intake, try the following tips:
Fats and sugars provide energy and help food to taste good, so use these generously. Add extra cheese to sauces or grate on potatoes, add butter or margarine to vegetables, or enrich full-fat milk by adding dried milk powder. Try using sugar or honey on breakfast cereals.
Eat pudding once or twice a day, such as yoghurt, milky puddings, ice cream, trifle, cake, fruit pie, sponge puddings with custard and ready prepared desserts. Cakes, biscuits, chocolate and crisps provide extra energy when eaten with meals, but ensure they don't spoil the appetite for more nourishing foods.
Enriched-nourishment drinks, available from pharmacies and supermarkets, may be taken between meals to increase calorie intake, but shouldn't replace meals.
Alcohol in small amounts can actually stimulate the appetite, but check with your GP first, especially if you're taking medication.

Health
For other uses, see Health care (disambiguation).
Surgery is one of the most difficult procedures in medicine.
Researchers looking at monoclonal antibodies.
The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is a well-known international relief movement.
Health care (often healthcare in American English), refers to the treatment and management of illness, and the preservation of health through services offered by the medical, dental, complementary and alternative medicine, pharmaceutical, clinical laboratory sciences (in vitro diagnostics), nursing, and allied health professions. Health care embraces all the goods and services designed to promote health, including “preventive, curative and palliative interventions, whether directed to individuals or to populations”.[1]
Before the term health care became popular, English-speakers referred to medicine or to the health sector and spoke of the treatment and prevention of illness and disease.

10 Health Care for Men
When it comes to health care, we men are like ostriches. We bury our heads in the sand. We are much less likely than women to visit our doctors regularly, take symptoms seriously and live a healthful lifestyle. Maybe that’s one reason why women have a seven-year average survival advantage on us!
Yet it’s obviously important that men of all ages become more proactive about their health. And an easy way to start is to follow these 10 basic steps to maintaining health and vitality.
1. Eliminate "White Foods" from Your Diet. White flour, white sugar and other processed foods are not only devoid of vitamins and minerals, but they’ve also been stripped of their natural fibre. As a result, they rapidly drive up blood sugar levels, which contributes to weight gain, diabetes and a host of other health problems. Avoid breads and baked goods made with white flour, sugar-laden sodas and snack foods. Instead, focus on eating fibre-rich fruits, vegetables, legumes and whole grains.
2. Stay Away from Dangerous Trans Fats. While it’s important to reduce your overall fat intake, it’s even more important to watch the types of fat you eat. Deep-fried foods and anything made with hydrogenated oils (margarine, peanut butter, shortening, store-bought pastries and cookies) contain trans fats that raise your risk of heart disease. Eat only healthful fats, such as olive oil and the omega-3 oils found in salmon and other cold-water fish, which actually protect against heart disease.
3. Take a Potent Daily Multivitamin and Mineral Supplement. Although there is no substitute for a good diet, I am convinced that for optimal nutrition, you need to take a high-potency multivitamin and mineral supplement. Even if you are eating right, it’s unlikely that your food contains all the nutrients you need. Poor soil quality, storage, processing and cooking deplete our food of vitamins and minerals. Taking a high quality daily supplement is "health insurance" against possible deficiencies.
4. Include Weight Training in Your Exercise Routine. Aerobic exercise is great for cardiovascular conditioning, but it’s vastly inferior to weight training in attacking the "flab factor." Recent research has shown that as little as once-weekly resistance exercise can improve muscle strength. Even the busiest or laziest among us can find the time and energy for that. Join a gym, consult a personal trainer or ask an experienced friend to show you the ropes.
5. Maintain Your Optimal Weight. Current statistics suggest that half of us are losing the battle of the bulge, but maintaining a healthy weight is one of the best things you can do for yourself. You’ll look better, feel better and reduce your risk of heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and other major killers. I know this is easier said than done, but if you just follow the four steps above, you’ll be well on your way.
6. Drink Alcohol Only in Moderation. You’ve probably heard of the "French Paradox," and that drinking wine protects against heart disease. Repeated studies have shown that drinking moderate amounts of alcohol (all kinds) protects not only against heart disease, but also lowers risk of death from all causes. Remember that moderation is key. While one to two drinks a day are protective, excess alcohol consumption is devastating to health. And for some, one drink is too many.
7. Protect Your Prostate. Around the age of 40, the prostate gland begins a growth spurt that results in symptoms such as frequent nighttime urination. The good news is that this condition, known as benign prostatic hyperplasia, can be prevented or reversed by taking extracts of two herbs: saw palmetto (Serenoa repens) and pygeum (Pygeum africanum). Dozens of studies have shown that these herbs work in improving urinary flow without adverse side-effects. Suggested doses are 160 to 320 milligrams of saw palmetto and 40 to 80 mg of pygeum daily.
8. Reduce Your Risk of Prostate Cancer. Experts estimate that 80 per cent of all cancers can be prevented by making healthy lifestyle choices. Avoid saturated and trans fats, which may fuel prostate cancer growth, and incorporate protective foods, such as soy, green tea and tomatoes, into your diet. Soy contains isoflavones with specific anti-cancer activity. Green tea is rich in polyphenols that inhibit the formation of cancer-causing compounds and block the growth of prostate cancer cells. And tomatoes, particularly cooked tomato products, are an excellent source of lycopene, which is linked to a reduced risk of prostate cancer. In addition, make sure your daily nutritional supplement contains high doses of the antioxidant selenium (200 micrograms) and vitamin E (800 IU), which have been shown to dramatically lower the risk of prostate cancer.
9. Maintain Vigorous Sexual Function. Most cases of erectile dysfunction (impotence) have a physical cause: You’re just not getting enough blood to the area in question. To improve overall circulation, follow the diet, exercise and supplement recommendations above. If you’re taking drugs, review them with your doctor, as many can worsen erectile function and impair libido. Smoking also significantly impairs erectile function. Several herbs have been shown to improve sexual function. Ginkgo biloba increases blood flow to the penis, and Panax ginseng, oats, horny goat weed, maca and seroctin improve libido.
10. Maintain Close Relationships. Another thing women seem to do better than men is maintain close relationships. Make a point to strengthen ties with your family and friends. Volunteer work, religious ties, even pets–anything that keeps you involved with others–reduces stress and enhances health.
Take charge of your health by incorporating these 10 steps into your life. The rewards of optimal health and well-being will be well worth your efforts.
Men’s Longevity "To Do" List
Eliminate "white foods" from your diet.
Stay away from dangerous trans fats.
Take a daily vitamin-mineral supplement.
Incorporate weight training in your exercise routine.
Maintain your optimal weight.
Drink alcohol only in moderation.
Protect your prostate.
Reduce your risk of prostate cancer.
Maintain vigorous sexual function.
Maintain close relationships.

When The Night Comes,
Look At The Sky.
If You See A Falling Star,
Don't Wonder Why,
Just Make A Wish.
Trust Me It Will Come True,
Cause I Did It And I Found You.

Crush-worthy Barnes sees many shades of Dorian Gray
He'll probably cringe at the turn of phrase, but celebrity is something Ben Barnes is still growing into.
It's not the paparazzi part of the idea that makes the crush-worthy star of Prince Caspian and the forthcoming Dorian Gray squirm - but the size reference.
``The whole Hollywood hunk thing just doesn't fit for me,'' says Barnes, whose photograph has appeared under that banner more than once.
``I'm just too skinny.''
Piffle. Sitting in a tall director's chair surrounded by TV lights and blackout curtains, Barnes may not have the barrel chest of Gerry Butler, but he is clearly built. Also, unlike many male stars, he's got altitude.
In short, Barnes is tall, dark, and gifted with a gentle face that suggests a certain brand of innocence - the perfect mixture of fresh-faced charisma and nascent self-awareness to portray Oscar Wilde's mythical literary figure Dorian Gray.
First unveiled 99 years ago in a copy of Lippincott's Monthly Magazine, Dorian Gray continues to resonate through the decades - but as Barnes notes, not that many people really know the whole story.
They just know about the painted portrait, and how it ages instead of its subject as a result of a nefarious deal with the forces of darkness.
``I'd read the book before. I think everyone reads it around the same age, 15 or 16. But I read it again and I was surprised by how much I'd missed the first time around. The themes are flagged up and presented for debate. You know, it's not a didactic novel at all,'' says Barnes, slowly picking up steam as he chugs through his thoughts.
``Dorian is really the American Psycho of Victorian literature,'' says Barnes.
``He places so much value on esthetic and looks, and yet here's this story talking about how much emphasis you should put on the soul instead of staying young because it corrupts.''
Indee, in a world where a nerve toxin like botulism is embraced as an anti- aging agent, the myth of Dorian Gray acquires extra meaning - and an added edge, especially for anyone intimate with the entertainment industry.
``Somewhat ironically, I put myself up for this role and auditioned for it, '' says Barnes. ``I would have stood in line to do it if I had to because I really wanted to play this part. I think people probably make assumptions about the kind of person you are in order to be confident enough to play a character like this - and that made me very anxious at the beginning,'' says Barnes.
``I was anxious about the kind of questions I might be asked when I got the part.''
He doesn't get into the details of his apprehensions, but one can imagine what any casting director of director might ask an actor if he's about to play a legendary Lothario who inked a deal with Satan for his handsome soul.
``My hope was to bring the journey to life. To take the audience from a state of wonder and innocence to a state of debauchery, where he's cynical and bored by the pleasures available to him.''
Barnes says there was a lot more debauchery in the original cut, but certain gory sequences and sexual details had to be excised for ratings consideration, and even though he feels the movie may have lost some of its horrific edge as a result, Barnes says it's an important movie for young people to see.
``There are parts of the movie that just don't go far enough, I think - and even my mother said that. But I read Dorian as a 15 or 16 year old, and I think it's unfair to exclude that age group. They really need to see this movie because it's very much about that time. It's about being young.''
It's also about finding one's powers of seduction, and - well - growing into them.
``That's funny you say that, because that's one thing I didn't notice until I saw the movie for the first time last night, and it was just how much of a flirt he is,'' says Barnes.
``I had no idea when I was playing it just how manipulative he was with his sex, but it's there. He's a real flirt. I mean that scene where he's trying to get around lending the painting. He'll do anything. Those scenes came across much stronger than I'd imagined.''
Barnes says his favourite scenes are often the ones that leave meaning open to interpretation, and he describes a particular moment on screen opposite his co-star Colin Firth.
``There's a moment (after he's had sex with a mother and daughter) where he flashes down at Colin and he rolls his eyes. That's my favourite scene in the movie. I was revelling in that. It was so adorable and wonderful,'' says Barnes, who was on the red carpet without Firth - and found the adulation somewhat novel.
``I'm surprised by how many people came to the screening last night, even without Colin being there,'' he says. ``I still have a hard time believing people would show up just for me.''
